Run Strength

Small Group Training

You don’t need to run faster to train smarter.
This is strength training built specifically for runners.

Our semi-private runners-only class meets twice per week, capped at just six athletes—so every lift, every rep, every cue is intentional.

Whether you’re chasing a PR, training for your first race, or just want to keep running pain-free, this is where durability meets performance.

We focus on powerful hips, resilient calves, stable knees, and strong cores—so your miles feel smoother and your recovery gets faster.

Let’s face it, getting consistent with a pre season strength training program can be difficult. Creating a new routine can take time and a busy schedule can make it even harder.

Even after making time on the calendar, deciding what to do when you get to the gym can be intimidating. What strength movements should I focus on? What exactly should I be doing to achieve my goals and feel my best?

Imagine a setting where weekly strength training classes, focused on training for the demands of running by experts in strength, mobility and injury prevention are at your finger tips. A supportive community with ready made programming to address your goals as well as science based methods to help determine what exactly you need to improve on to make your upcoming season the best possible.

That’s exactly what we are offering with Revo’s small group run strength and conditioning classes this season.

  • Progressive overload built into your training program. Progressive overload is gradually increasing the stress of your body to allow for adaptation to that new stress. Think of moving slightly heavier weights each training session to allow for true strength changes. A common issue we see in DIY training is not embracing progressive overload. We see athletes get used to using very similar weights for a strength block and those athletes are typically disappointed with their lack of improvement come the next season. Having help with programming how much to increase resistance will greatly improve the outcomes of your investment.

  • Community & accountability. Getting out of bed early to hit the gym in the cold winter months can be really difficult. For some, the challenge is maintaining energy to hit the gym after a hard day at the office. With a supportive community of fellow runners and coaches, helping to hold the group accountable for achieving their goals, we aim to make the challenge of getting into the gym just a bit easier.

Benefits you can expect after our off season training program.

Improved strength and power

A key component of running performance. Improving strength will allow you to have more fun, reduce risk of injury during the season and be more durable for long training blocks.

Improved joint mobility

Optimizing your joint mobility is an important part of both improving your performance and improving how you feel while running. Ensuring proper range of motion can also help reduce risk of injury during the season.

Optimized movement quality

Movement quality is the way in which we move. There are many movement quality changes that can help spread stress across multiple areas of the body vs focused loading on one area. This helps reduce injury risk while also improving the effectiveness of your in gym training.
